This webinar provides an introduction to AAPOR’s “A Meeting Place and More...”, an update to a history of the organization first published in 1992. In addition there will be a discussion of the important trends ‎that have been, and are, affecting AAPOR and the field of survey and public opinion ‎research more generally. The new history has 16 chapters by 18 authors. Six of the authors will be participating in this webinar to discuss important themes and developments ‎and add material not covered in the completed volume.
